Question Q: Silver Shield PDA Amplified Speaker Mount

I have a HP IPAQ hx2410 running TomTom Nav 5, and ordered a Silver Shield PDA Amplified Speaker Mount for it. It came with zip all instructions and I can not get any sound out of the speaker at all! The sound comes out of the PDA instead!

There is a label on the mount which reads IPAQ H38xx/39xx/54xx/55. Have they sent me the wrong one? If not does anyone know how to get the voice directions to come out of the mount speaker?

Thanks.

Can't say I've ever used a Silver Shield mount but I guess it must be similar inopertaion to the other amplified mounts. Was there a cable in the box to attach between the iPAQs headphone socket and the audio-in socket on the mount?

P.S. please familiarise your self with our rules found at the top of each section of the forum.

You need to connect the cable supplied with two jack plugs from earpiece socket on PDA to input jack at top of mount.
