Hi, I am a new member to this forum, recently i have got a job as a finance director, and now really need the use of a pda to keep my life on track. but i am really stuck on which one to buy. i have a bluetooth laptop which i would like it to be able to connect to. Also i use outlook alot and so that would be a benefit, is there any way it would be able to sync with my outlook on my laptop, so if i update a meeting schedule, it could connect and update on the pda also? I feel i'm getting ahead of myself here. I have looked at the Hp 4700 this looks quite nice, hass anyone had any dealing with these? Would it be able to run satalitte navigation software as this is something that i would also like it to do. Next for the stuff on a personal level, whenever i go on a train i easily get bored, if if has windows media player on it does this mean that i can record a t.v show using my tv card save it as a format windows likes, save it on a spare cf or sd card, pop it in the pda and then watch the show? This would be a massive bonus. M final thing and this really is a long shot, but say you put and old pc game such as grand prix 2 that need a 166mhz processor back in 1996 onto an sd card would you be able to play it on a pda with a good enough spec?

Kind Regards,
Hope someone can help me
Matt

Welcome to our forums.
Once you have a PDA synchronised with your PC (laptop) through Activesync you can then sync it over a wireless network connection (if your laptop has one) or a Bluetooth connection to keep your contacts, tasks, calendar and more up to date on both devices.
The 4700 is an excellent model from HP that provides just about everything you could want in a PDA and will be more than capable at running satnav software.
Yes you can watch pre-recorded TV shows on your PDA as well.
No you can't run old PC games on it although there are loads of games available for the PocketPC platform so I'm sure you'll find something you like.
