XDA2i to TOMTOM 3 receiver.

I have just changed from XDA2 to 2i. I have an XDA car cradle for TomTom3. When I have installed my navigator and activate GPS I get an error message COM PORT 1 does not exist. The receiver is not picked up by the XDA. The light is on and flashing. I have maps etc...but No GPS. Can any one advise me on how to connect...ta..Chris

Welcome to our forums.
You need to change the receier settings in the GPS page of TomTom...it appears to be set for a cabled receiver at the moment.
