Default complete newbie needs help re: internet connection

Hi all,

Im looking at purchasing a PDA and quite overwhelmed with the choice. My needs are essentially to be able to use the internet wi-fi styles but having my own connection rather than connecting via bluetooth or wi fi. Basically, i will be on the move alot and need access to the net and pref. with a windows operating system. I believe I will need a 3rd party in order to access the net but unsure what the costs are relative to this.

Any recommendations...

Cheers

Drew

Hmm that does not realy make sense you have your own connection?
Are you using GPRS to connect the the net on the move?

I use the i-mate jam, it does not have wifi but i use GPRS (mobile technology) to connect the internet, this is possible any where as long as you have a mobile signal and GPRS enabled on your sim card.

ok. this is what i mean by being a complete newbie - Is this how i connect to the net by using GPRS which is already installed in the i mate jam? What costs are we looking at in order to be connected to the internet?

Cheers

GPRS costs vary depending on your mobile network provider, best to check with them to work out how much it'll cost you.
