Angry Ipaq 5450/Sony Ericsson K700i GPRS connection

Hi, would be grateful for any help.

I am using an Ipaq 5450 with Tom Tom Navigator 5, and want to use the Traffic facility.

I have an Ericsson K700i, on 02 contract with WAP enabled. I can surf on the phone without any problem.

My priority is to be able to connect through the Bluetooth facility on the Ipaq to the phone to use gprs to access Tom Tom Traffic.

When I activate the Bluetooth on the phone and connect to the Ipaq, then when I access Traffic through Tom Tom, I activate Traffic Update, but nothing happens - I get a message flash up on the Ipaq saying that it is not able to connect to the internet.

Any help gladly received.

Final point, if I activate the Bluetooth connection on the phone am I then able to use the phone whilst it is in gprs mode to make and receive calls. Whilst in Bluetooth mode the phone screen remains full of files on the PDA and any attempt to clear the screen through using the 'back' key results in dropping the Bluetooth connection.

Many thanks in eager anticipation.

Phil

you need to enable GPRS on your sim card not WAP. Contact O2 and then click on the link below to setup your PDA to use GPRS on your mobile phone.
