Default Damaged Screen

Just smashed the screen of my HP iPAQ1710. Before I contact HP for a repair which will probably cost me what I paid for it, does anyone know where I might buy the screen as a spare part.

Neil

Hi there. I did the same thing approximately 4 months ago after dropping mine down the stairs. The company I use to get it fixed was:

http://www.ipaqrepair.co.uk/

I sent them my PDA and they replaced the screen and returned it to me. Took about 4days all together (not bad I thought).

Here is for the important part. It cost me around £120 (may have been a little less). They can just ship the parts out that you require for you to do it yourself (would be cheaper) but I don't know if you are able???

Let me know how you get on and what you decide.
