Navman Jacket & Tomtom

I have seen other requests about the same subject but not the solution.
I have a Ipac 3970 with the navman 3450 voice gps jacket and using navman v2 service pack 2. Not bad but program a bit flakey and the 4 digit post code is a problem. Decided to put on TomTom 5 but can not get the program to see a GPS signal. I have tried everthing suggested but nothing seems to works. Can some please help.

Welcome to our forums.
I'm not sure what settings you would have to select to configure this but I believe you will have to remove the SmartST in order for TomTom to use the 3450.
