Internet??

Hi, im totally new to all this and will be buying a PDA soon. But i was just wondering how you get the internet, and does it cost much. I want to use MSN messenger which is included on the one im getting, but just curious on how it all works and prices etc....can someone please help me out

hi tattl001. well i'm also wondering this. i have recently ordered (obviously) the tungstene2 after seeing it in a christian magazine. im just wondering how the internet works on it, is it already built in or what, can i send email on it and go on msn??? questions questions, some smart person give me and tatttl001 a good answer/s thankyou and god bless.

You can connect to the internet on a pda using either Bluetooth or Wifi depending on the PDA you have.

If you have a bluetooth device you need to connect using bluetooth via your mobile phone. This would access the web using GPRS trhough your phone.

If you have a PDA with wifi you can access the net using a wifi hotpsot. Either in a wifi set up at home or in places like waiting lounges, starbucks and costa coffee.

The Tungsten E2 has Bluetooth but no wifi.

All the Ipaqs with bluetooth would let you do this via your mobile phone i.e. 2xxx series and the 4700. You could even get an ipaq with a phone built in i.e. The 6340 or the 65xx range. They all have MSN messenger.
