Default Acer n35 + tomtom5

Hi all..happy new year !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need some advice plzzzzzzz............can I install TomTom 5 into my Acer n35 and do I need to change any setting or just pop in the sd card and go ...........thanks

Welcome to our forums.
Yes you can install it on that device but you will likely have to configure the correct GPS receiver settings.

Yes TT5 works perfect on the Acer n35. Load on card & install. GPS settings are:

Other Wired GPS -- 4800 Baud Rate -- GPS on Navigator.

Hiya...thanx works a treat BUT have a different problem now.................the backlight keeps going on/off each time I touch the screen when im on tomtom .....checked the backlight settings there fine..........................

i had the same problem it is because tomtom takes a lot of power to run and combined with the gps antennae taking all the power the backlight gets it, so you need realy to have it pluged into the power lead whilst using it, so i use tomtom for the car of which i have installed on a seperate sd card from destinator and when i wont to use the n35 walking around etc i pop in the destinator card and use destinator! by the way tomtom eats battery power at an amazing rate!!
