Default streaming video - pocket pc or palm?

Hi

I hope someone can help.

I am about to upgrade from my old Tungsten T and am still undecided whether to go for Palm of Pocket PC...plus I need another good excuse!

My question relates to live streaming video and which platform is best.

I have wireless broadband at home and want to use my new device to access via wifi.

One site that I use quite a lot is bbc sport as often live video is available.

Is it possible to access the video online via wifi using my home broadband and if so what platform is best / easiest?

Any help would be really appreciated...the money is burning a hole in my pocket!!

Id say probably a PDA with windows mobile 5 as it has a newer version of media player and there are meant to be net improvements.

Id look at the 2490 or 2790.

Thanks for this.

I have heard the Windows 5 is causing a lot of issues right now as it seems a bit buggy? I was wondering if it would be worth waiting for an update to be released before going for a 5.0 system

what do you think?

Win Mobile 5 will be the best way to get streaming video and you will be able to add any updates when they come out anyway as HP always release ROM updates when they become available.

What issues have you heard about we havent really have had anything except an icompatiblity issue with tomtom that was corrected in a patch.
