Connecting HX4700 to 3com wireless router

I have a 3com 'officeconect' ASDL Wireless 11g Firewall router at which I use my laptop with (with a 3com card) I can not get my Ipaq (or PSP) to connect to it. The Ipaq finds the network and says it's connected but when I open explorer it says to check settings, anyone got any ideas?
I have used it on the web through a wi-fi server at an office I visit sometimes and it just finds it and connects no problem.

HI I also have a 4700 and use it to connect wirelessly to a number of routers. I initialy had problems until i realised the following.... When entering the pre-shared key (for WEP or WPA) always press return on the 'keyboard' after entering the key. If you just press the X at the top right of the screen you will connect but you wont be able to use the connection.
Also make sure you select Work as the 'connects to' option when configuring the connection
