help please

I have a Dell pda and unfortunately, due to decorating, the pda has now got water inside. The pda switches on but freezes. Any suggestiions please cus I use navigator 3 on it all the time and Im getting lost now. can it be repaired? or do I need to throw it away?

I'm guessing here, but sounds like the minerals in the water have corroded the main board.

There are sites out there which will repair them but you'll probably need a new one (PDA - it'd work out cheaper in most instances). This *might* be covered by accidental damage on your home insurance! Worth checking.

There is a chance you could get it repaired but it would probably cost about the same as a new unit.
