Newbie HELP !!

Sorry about but I desperatly need help
I have a IPAQ2210h which I have been using for gps only
I now have need to connect to the internet to access my "hotmail" acccount
So i purchased a wifi card plugged it in expecting to be able to connevct to the internet ! (nieve i know)
Please can somebody tell me how to set this up..on my home pc i put in a disc and now it works
As you may gather I have very little technical knowledge

First thing I recomend is visit http://wifi.aximsite.com/wifi_net.html and have a read.
Then we can offer more advice if your still stuck.

I have read all and set all the settings as per specs,but i still cannot connect to the net or e mail. my configure window shows I am connected but tapping on the Internet explorer tab only allows me to se the pre programmed page.. sorry if I sound really stupid but I am desperatly trying to get this sorted out as I live on a boat and need to be able to access my hotmail account to get e mails from family and friends. The reason to use the pda was one of economics as I already had it as a gps /diary unit.

You need to set up your ISP in Settings - Connections. You will need some info from your ISP re dial up number and password etc.

Just a thought, your wireless router/access point is setup to work on b and g protocols isnt it, if its just g you will need to set it up as b+g or it might just say both.
