Default XDA 11s how to switch device off

Hiya i was wondering if anyone knew how to tunr the XDA device off. i press the switch button and it goes to standby

Most PDA's go into standby, and are never really off.

If you mean for flying, then you should have a mode called 'flight mode' which should be used.
