Default Handheld SATNAV via PDA

Hi,
I have a 02 XDA2i and an IPAQ 2210. Is it possible to convert either of these into a handheld satnav unit, and then use them without the rather cumbersome accessory of a car. I realise the battery will be a problem, but if this was overcome, would it be possible

Yes you could. There are a number of similar posts and suggestions for equipment in the TomTom Navigator forum.

Simon both of those would work quite well. I would be able to get you the satnav software and GPS receiver. If you are going to use this outside of the car I would be able to get you a spare battery as well. There are quite a few options so if you give me a call I can go over them.
