Default Mio A701

Hello,

Newbie to this forum lark so apologies in advance if I get it wrong.

I currently run an ipaq h5550 with TTN5 and BT. I am looking to change and have being considering the Mio A701. Has anyone got any reviews on this unit, will it work with TTN5?

The reason for me looking at this is it's an all in one phone and gps. I have started walking so think it might suit a purpose. Does anyone one know how long the battery life might be. Also, should I stick with TTN5, or should I consider changing to a different software that will do the normal route stuff plus walking!

Any help would be grately appreciated.

200 hours standby and 4 four hours talk time. It will work with nav 5 easily. You would need a different software package for the hillwalking though. Memory map is the best package to consider.

It looks a tremendous unit I'm thinking of getting one myself when my contract finishes.
