Error message 8

In trying to sync my iPAC I have recently been prohibited from connecting and an error message (#8) appears on the screen about remote Networking. I am using Microsoft Multisync 3.7.1 Can anyone help with a solution?

On the Ipaq open Activesync, then go to Tools --> Options, make sure your on the 'PC' tab down the bottom left of the screen, and tap Options.

Make sure the 'Enable PC sync using this connection:' box is checked then make sure to select your proper connection type (USB most likely) from the drop down.
