I can definately get a PDA that would do all of that. If you get apda with tomtom that will cover the GPS for the car. You can even get US maps from tomtoms web page. I can also get you memory map for the walking and hiking maps. Memory map uses the OS landranger maps. 1:50,000. The other software will all be on the PDA as standard. You might want to look at these PDA's.

I would like a PDA for:-
GPS - for the car both in the UK and if possible parts of the USA.
GPS - for walking/hiking in the UK
Maps - 1/50000 and 1/25000 scale
Office type functions - contacts, calendar, to do list and e-mail etc which I can syncrinize with my laptop.
The occasional game to keep me and the kids amused.
Does any particular PDA spring to mind which would suite my purposes?
