Default Where to learn about PDAs

I have had 10 years experience with computers and laptops but I would like a PDA. I have a definite idea why I want one and wondered where do I learn about PDAs and where is the best place to buy them? Also where do you buy the software for these devices?
I would like a PDA for:-
GPS - for the car both in the UK and if possible parts of the USA.
GPS - for walking/hiking in the UK
Maps - 1/50000 and 1/25000 scale
Office type functions - contacts, calendar, to do list and e-mail etc which I can syncrinize with my laptop.
The occasional game to keep me and the kids amused.
Does any particular PDA spring to mind which would suite my purposes?
Thanks in advance.

The best place to buy them is here.

I can definately get a PDA that would do all of that. If you get apda with tomtom that will cover the GPS for the car. You can even get US maps from tomtoms web page. I can also get you memory map for the walking and hiking maps. Memory map uses the OS landranger maps. 1:50,000. The other software will all be on the PDA as standard. You might want to look at these PDA's.

I would be able to put a bundle together with the PDA and tomtom kit and with memory map as well. Give a me a shout if you have any questions.

There ar some bundle shown here.
