I live in the UK but, as I am Japanese, I use Japanese IME in order to type on a PC. Can anybody tell me whether I can do the same on a PDA? How do I go about it? Where can I download the equivalent, and how?

You best bet would to get in touch with manufacturer of your PDA i.e. HP or or dell as you would probably need a ROM update to do this.

Thanks for your kind advice, Martin. I have emailed Dell. Although automatically generated acknowledgement states that I should receive their reply within 24 hours, so far nothing has happened. Is it to do with the Bank Holiday Weekend? Anyway, they are keen to sell but not so earger to look after their customers. Shame on them!
