clock playing up

ive got a ipaq rx3700 and when it turned on it displays the time that it was synced you can reset the clock and put it to the correct it will be right for a second besause it keeps the time you put in. has anybody any ideas why it wont keep the correct time

i aslo tried to update the rom yesterday to see if it would fix the clock issue but it wont seem to let me do that either

Check the time zone on the PDA and PC are the same, with daylight saving enabled on both.

There is an option on the PDA to also sync with the PC time. However if you've got the wrong time zone selected on the PDA, sync'ing will cause the PDA to be the difference in timezones.

IE your PC is set to BST (GMT +1), PDA set to EST (GMT -5) so your PDA will be 6 hours behind your PC when it time syncs.
