problems making a call from spv m2000

Default problems making a call from spv m2000

hi !

when i try and make a call from my pda - i get a sound from the speaker very similar to when you put a mobile phone too close to the tv a sort of clicking/buzzing sound - the call goes through - but its impossible to hear anything over the noise ......

its just started to have this problem today .....

does any kind soul have any ideas whats happened / how to fix ?

Try a soft reset. If it continues, back up everything in activesync, then do a hard reset and load everything back from the back up.

If that fails, sounds like your device has developed a fault and needs to be repaired/replaced by Orange.

Hmmm i was hoping you wouldnt say that .....

I've done both a soft and hard reset with no effect :-(

The OTHER problem is I dont have a contract with Orange - This is an unlocked M2000.
Although its brand new (bought off a 'friend' who didnt get on with the PDA) - I cant see Orange fixing it can you ? Well not unless I'm prepaired to part with serious money :-((

There should be a warranty somewhere if purchased within the last 12 months.

If not, try a Carphone Warehouse, as many do repairs.
