Mobile media player mp3 No sound

Hi
I have transferred a few mp3's from pc windows media player 10 to mda pro. They transferred fine and run fine - bar slides across as if playing. Trouble is I have no sound. Its nothing obvious in settings on either pc or mda pro. I have read this can be a problem but I dont understand the fix at all. Can anyone help please? Thanks
