Which is better? ipaq hx2790 or hx4700?

Hi,

Am seeking advice as am looking to upgrade from hp1945.

Looking at the specification of these two models, they appear pretty much the same, aside from a biometric finger print reader.

I guess what I am asking, is which would be the better bet long term? Which represents the better value etc.

Additionally, are there any cons to each of these models or any known faults or defects?

After looking at different web sites for over a week now, the facts and figures are swimming before my eyes and I would appreciate someone in the know to help me make sense of it all. My research has been hampered by several websites listing the wrong details for each model, so I am now more confused than ever.

Could someone help with some common sense advice?

PS: Intend using the pda for sat nav (already have bluetooth sirfIII GPS) and tomtom N5 software & maps, email and internet use as well as all the usual stuff that the 1945 can currently do.

Well I have the 2790 and very happy with it. Use it with TT5 and BT GPS, as well as wireless net both at home and out and about.
