Red face Dell+PDA+Installation problem

Hello All,
I am new to this forum and PDA. Recently I have bought PDA and got Tomtom6 CD from my brother. I am trying to install it on my PDA. I have transfered all files to SD card (tomtom6.cab;western europe;voices;zip etc) but when I double click on tomtom on my PDA i get message that "no map found". My westurn europe folder is in SD card. Do i need to copy it somewhere else? How can i configure tomtom so that it recognize the UK map?
I am new to all this things so help me/

thanks in advance.

The maps have to be activated to your device. Use the TomTom disc to install the software and maps. During installation you will be asked to enter the Product Code. TomTom will use your Device ID together with the Product Code to give you the Activation Code.

Also each product purchased can only be installed on one device. So if your brother bought this, and you're trying to use his purchased copy on your device you wont be able to activate it.
