Can't (always) connect to ActiveSync

I seem unable to guarantee a link from my iPaq (hx2490b) to my Laptop. It sometimes connects and syncs ok but not always...

I occasionally get a message "USB Device not recognized"

Any ideas?

Hi, i get connection problems when i turn my computer on with it docked and attatched. Its my bitdefender bllocking it before it has loaded properly.

Could this be similar to your problem, if i take it out the holder then reinsert it when bitdefender has loaded its ok. Bitdefender is an antivirus by the way.
