How do I delete all the contacts on my PDA?

I need to re-synch all the Contacts details on my PDA (have been getting duplicates) but can't see how to delete (all of) the Contacts data on my PDA so that I can "start again"

In contacts view, press & hold the stylus on a blank area of the contacts screen. You'll get an option in the menu that appears to select all. Then edit (might be tools>edit), delete.
