Unhappy Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could someone please offer me some decent advice? I have gone through that many web pages that i think my head is going to explode!

The situation:
Initially i was looking to purchase a dedicated Sat Nav unit - tomtom one v2 or 510, as these were my preferred choice. However, after speaking to some colleagues they recommended going down the PDA route and use a sat nav system with this - again tomtom. Not knowing much about PDA's i am a little stuck which one to go for, if one at all. I like the idea of having the reciever built in to the unit so i dont have a car full of wires and clutter. Does anyone make a unit with tomtom software? I would use the pda for it's diary capabilities and the odd spreadsheet/word docment but thats about it.

I can bundle this PDA with tomtom nav 5.
http://www.totalpda.co.uk/Acer-N35-L...-Software.aspx
http://www.totalpda.co.uk/TOMTOM-NAV...TIVATION-.aspx

Total price would be £203 including vat and delivery.
The specification will match all your requirements.

There is also a higher spec HP model with with wifi bluetooth and European maps.

going down the PDA
Further advantages of going down the PDA route, you will find you have a choice of mapping and if disatisfied can easily switch. It also fits easily into the pocket and can be used for walking, cycling etc.

I believe you need to use Tom Tom v5 with pocket pc/windows mobile 2003, as Tom Tom 6 has compatability issues with anything other than Mobile 5.
If Tom Tom 6 was required, then you could go down the road of the more powerful and up to date IPAQ 2790 and TomTom 6,which can get rather expensive and requires a separate GPS receiver. I personally would go with Martins reccomendation of the IPAQ 5935 which switches from a PDA to a GPS unit at the touch of a button, no menu's no fuss.
I was playing about with it in the office last week and i was rather impressed.
