Difference between Pocket PC and Windows Mobile

Can anyone tell me whats the difference between Pocket PC and Windows mobile.

I have a HP2210 running pocket PC and use Tom Tom GPS, have been reading in the forums about the Rom update to Windows Mobile.

Is it worth changing ? or should I just get the drivers and TT updates instead

what software if any comes with it ?
