Ok, where are you trying to use it, and what settings are you using with the software so far?

Have you installed the software on to the PDA, from the CD's ? I have found if it fails to find the Sat's then leave it running and push the on/off switch off and then on again it helps (Sometimes). Have a great new year.

I have the same problems on my n35 sometimes not finding GPS receiver, I switch off then on as suggested, which normally sorts it , also noticed that if you close and reopen external ariel does the same trick
Happy New Year
Cheers Steve

Karen,

I also bought one of these recently. I also had problems getting a signal using the Destinator software it came with. I eventually got hold of the PDF manual and in there it tells you to set the GPS Settings as follows:
COM Port: COM8
Baud rate: 9600 bps

After I did this (rather than allowing it to find the GPS itself) I had no problems with the signal.

Just a bit of a shame I dropped it in some water a week later and not surprisingly it doesn't work so well now (everything works apart from the GPS bit!)

Neil
