Default Mio P550

Hi,

Could anybody help I have just received a Mio P550 for Christmas and cannot seem to get it working on home wireless network.

It is seeing the network but it will not connect I’m new to this kind of thing so not sure what settings are needed to be entered into the PDA? Or were to find the settings.

If anyone could help with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Phil

You need to ensure that your wifi point does not have any encryption, or MAC filtering.

If it does, then you need to enter the MAC into the wifi point/router as 'allowed'. If your network uses encryption, then you need to enable this when you set up the encryption. you do not need to put full stops between the hex code of your password, but note some routers need this entered in caps ie - A1B2C3

See - http://wifi.aximsite.com/wifi_net.html

Or do you mean network as in LAN, and you are connecting via active sync?
