problems running tom tom when using battery

Cool problems running tom tom when using battery

hi
have installed tom tom 6
on my acer n35 , it works fine when on car's power supply,however when running on battery display is really jumpy
does the processor run slower on battery , if i install tom tom 5 would i have the same problems when running on battery ?

It is the minimum spec you could run it on. Why would you want to use the battery unless your outside of the the car?

I am using pda on my motorbike ( stored in my tank bag) & therefore no access to running on mains

Havent had anyone else mention anything like this. But it is the minimum spec possible for nav 6 so it could be the reason.
