Default TomTom 5 Postcodes

I have an Ipaq 4100 and have installed TomTom Navigator 5 but cannot get the postcode to accept 6 digits.
The postcode file is on the SD card along with a folder which contains the GB map.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I have tried making a new empty TomTom folder on the SD card but this does not work. I have also tried moving the postcode file to the Navigator file in the main memory.
Any help with this problem will be appreciated

Are you using navigate to postcode rather than navigate to address.

I have tried using both with the same result.
