Default Help!!!!

I currently have an HP iPAQ H2200 PDA and I am looking at buying software and hardware for this device to allow me to use it as a navigator (driving from Essex to Barcelona in June) so that it can direct me using the "B" road and avoiding the toll charges. I want POI and other nice quizmos on the software however I do not want I need to purchase. I know TOMTOM do a naigation software for PDAs but do I need a GPS receiver, what version of TOMTOM do I need for UK and Europe maps.

Your help would be great

Cheers

If you PDA supports Bluetooth, then this will suit your needs - http://www.totalpda.co.uk/TomTom-Nav...pean-Maps.aspx

All you need in addition is a PDA cradle to mount to the windscreen.

although your PDA is not listed, it is entirely possible that TT Nav 6 will work perfectly well with it. TomTom do not test absolutely every model of PDA out there as this would be a mammoth task and offering support for each and every one would be a technicians nightmare. The downside is that if TomTom do not list it as compatible then you have no recompense if you do encounter problems, but perhaps asking around to find if anyone else has successfully installed TT6 on a 2200 would reap some rewards.

I mention this because TomTom 5 appears to be incredibly hard to get a copy of at the moment as its fully discontinued by TomTom.

Have a look here http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/module...paq+h2200+ttn6, it doesn't seem promising for TTN6.
