Unhappy TomTom Car kit marks IPAQ casing

I recently purchased an IPAQ 2210 with TomTom3 & car kit. The car kit seems extremely tight (it is the correct one for the 2210) and whilst it drops in easy enough removing it is definitely not!

It has marked the casing of my new IPAQ and it is disturbing to think my £200+ purchase is getting damaged in this way and will only get more scruffy as time goes on. Don't think that this could be termed as being wear and tear.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Recommendation! For those of you like me who take your IPAQ to meetings have a look at PC Worlds Seiko SmartPad 2e only £30!, which is a Black Folder containing a standard A5 Pad and a clever piece of kit that copies what you write on the Pad to the Ipaq. You can also convert this back to text by copying and pasting into a Note and then getting it to Recognise! Essential for those minutes. These were around when I used to use a Palm but for £100+ which I could never justify being half the cost of the PDA.

I have 2 car kits in 2 cars and have notcied the same but was hoping that over time then the kit would "loosen" and cause less damage but here's hoping!!!!
