Crashed PDA address book and calendar appointments needed

Hi



I have the Orange SPV M3100.



It won’t get past the password screen. It keeps on locking up. Tried soft reset a few times no luck.



I could hard reset but I want to save all my contacts and calendar appointments.



It will connect to my laptop with active sync but no copy all the info over.



My question is - Is there a specific file/files that hold the address book and the calendar appointments on the phone? - I can't seem to find it easily

When you say lock up, what do you mean? It takes the password and freezes, or rejects the password?

Have you tried a SOFT reset using the stylus?
