Exclamation Dell no longer making PDAs!!!

I've just had confirmation from our Dell account manager that they are no longer making PDAs - so bye bye Axims!

From our Dell account manager:
I can confirm that Dell will no longer be producing their own PDA. I believe that the reason behind this is that the demand on this particular product has declined over the last 12 months due to the monopoly of other competitors producing PDA's.
Has anyone else heard this? Can anyone else confirm?

It's a real pain as these where the standard PDAs we used in our organisation.

I now have to find an alternative - any suggestions. I basically want one which will give me zero issues (the Axim x51v's have been great in this regard) and is easy to use for the "upper management" who struggle to do anything IT related as it is.

Thanks
Gromit

Yes their definately pulling out of the Market.

You might want to look at these models as alternatives for future purchases.

The Ipaqs are the best selling models and I think the main reasondell are pulling out. The FS loox are great models as well. The Have the same VGA screen that the X51v had. The softwares the same on all of them so you shouldnt have any issues using them.
