mio 168 "GPS not found"

Hi first time i have used one of these forums so if i do things wrong please let me know

I have a mio 168 and it has been very good to me but recently I get a message "GPS not found" when trying to use the sat nav. The Software installed is Navigator PN. I have tried re-installing the software to no avail, and Mio's website is not helping me. Maybe someone out there could shed some light.
