Default HX4700 accessories compat. with 214?

I bought a 4700 a few years ago to work as a pda (obviously) and TomTom. I upgraded it to v5, but TomTom have said that they are not releasing newer versions of the maps in the V5 format. Ignoring my concerns for a company that drops support for a product so quickly, I am looking to replace my 4700.

I see that the 214 also has the same sized screen. Can someone tell me:
1. Is the 214 compatible with TomTom Version 6?
2. I have the wired TomTom GPS device with car adaptor etc. Is the 214 connector socket the same as the 4700?

Many thanks.

Kerry

It works with Nav 6 but the connection is now mini USB so you would need a different connector.
