Databases & PDA recommendations

I currently use a Psion 5mx but, because of its increasing rarity, I need to change to 'something' else

so have a question (I suppose it's more than one really!).

Does anyone know of or (even better) have experience of transferring a Psion database (mine is all my customers, their details and the jobs I've done for them) to a current PDA?

What PDA would anyone recommend for this (must have reasonable battery life and robustness...)? I also need a good diary with a decent toDo list and an ability to change views of it from daily through weekly to monthly. I'm distinctly NOT interested in email etc etc etc.
