hi there, first post so be nice!

I'm looking for a pda that i will be able to plug a webcam into. i have a logitech quickcam messenger, that i intend to use.

will the software that comes with this webcam be ok to use on a pda (dependant on OS)

You cannot use PC equipment on a PDA.

Unless you buy a PDA camera or your device has an inbuilt cam for 3G, then you cannot enjoy video messaging.

I'm using DOPOD PDA Phone with built in camera for 3G. Is it necessary to install the software for the webcam?

If the device has this already, then all the drivers should be there already.
