Default Need Recommendations: Asus 730W just died, need replacement

My Asus MyPal ate it last night, a power surge in the USB port because of a slightly bent pin in that cheap generic little connector all PDAs seem to use... (yes, I'm just a little bitter.)

I want something else, but not as "fancy" because I realize now that 99% of the time I used my PDA as just an ebook reader, task scheduler, document editor, and general database for all my information.

The new device must have:
  • Ability to run MSReader and Adobe Acrobat (all my ebooks are .lit or .pdf )
  • Ability to edit .doc files
  • CF and SD card expansion slots
  • Backlit screen
  • Long battery life (4 hours minimum)
Features I'd really, really like:
  • Full qwerty keyboard that is not an attachment. Slide or clamshell design is fine.
  • Voice recorder
  • Built in phone
  • VGA screen (but not if the unit is too pricey because of it)
Features I don't care about:
  • Wifi
  • Camera
  • Bluetooth
The unit does not have to be a current model, older is better as long as it does what I want. Size doesn't matter much, if it's smaller than a sandwich I'll be happy. I don't need lots of processing power, I'm not watching videos or playing games on it. I would like to spend less than $800, preferably much less for a used unit (maybe $350.)

Thanks to all who reply in advance.

You're not going to get one that does all of that. If you reallly need CF then you should look at the ipaq 214.

This meets all your must have requirements.

Other models you could look at would be.

None of these have CF but the would meet most of the other requirements.

We're UK based so I dont know the price of these in the US. The HP's pretty cheap so you may want to focus on them for your budget.
