2 q's one about medion and one about acer

hi, i've got a medion pna..umm, 100 or 150 something like that which came with sat nav software but the installation disc is too scratched to re install so i was wondering if there's a copy floating round on the internet i could download - i still have the maps - just need the install cab. it's version 4 i think.

next question (main question)...
i bought a acer n35 to go traveling with for the wifi features (upgraded by using an sdwifi card) but the lcd bit of the screen has cracked, everything works except for not being able to see half of the screen.
anyway, an idea poped into my head for a project using the acer pda. and to save money i was wondering if it was possible to take the screen from the medion and fit it to the acer.

or would that just be too easy! i know things like this are never that simple and presumable each screen would have slightly different connectors on it.
if i did a bit of hacking to the cable would it work or is there all sorts of drivers n stuff that need considering.

if not, i've got a spare sdwifi card if anyone want to buy it and a usb host lead for acer!

Each screen will need ait's drivers, and unless the screens are the exact same make & model, it wont work.
