Hi there,
go to the following site:

http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/tomtompoi.php

scroll down to the section 'United Kingdom' and find the poi mcdonalds. Download this and then connect your PDA to your computer and transfer the file into the folder with the Great Britain map. Once you have done this, open up navigator, change preferences, manage POI's, enable / disable poi and make sure there is a tick next to the mcdonalds.

Hi there

Re Gemini 101's query I also want to get all the mcdonalds sites as poi's.. I have done as you suggested and it works fine - but I can not get it to produce the appropriate icon on the map, no matter where I put the .bmp file in my IPAQ. When I check the poi list in preferences, the mcdonalds box is checked but with no icon next to it. Any ideas? Thanks
