Angry Pocket Pc & mobile phone connection

Hi all,
I hope someone can shine some light on this problem.
I have a Mitac Mio A201 with gps, running on windows mobile 5.
I need to set up the internet connection via bluetooth to my mobile phone, of which I have a choice, either Nokia 6280 (on 3 network) or Ericcson T610.(on o2 payg)
I assume both have built in modem but, i Cannot seem to get the modem settings right to connect, both have GPRS but I have no I dea how to connect the PDA to this, but I have tried everything.
I would even use a dial up server but I can`t even work that one out, there seems to be no wizard like the ipaq.
All the basics are ok, i.e. bluetooth pairing.
Is there any site that explains in clear english what I should do?

Many thanx, if you can help

You wont be able to access the net using the 3 phone as there GPRS setting are differenct from everyone elses. The T610 on 02 should work though although you will need some setting from 02 to get this up and running. There some sites that cover this but I dont know them offhand. have you tried searching on this forum there may be some links.

I followed this guide but I still haven't had any luck, the problem may be that the guide was written for PPC 2003 and I have Windows Mobile 5, also the guide mentions selecting the "Bluetooth Dialup modem" yet there are a number of modems to pick from on my device "IVT BT Modem VCOM7", "IVT BT Modem VCOM8" or "IVT BT Modem VCOM9".

There are a number of guides out there on the internet that attempt to tackle this difficult issue, they all seem different and none seem to work. I have checked all the obvious things such as BT connection to phone, service enabled with o2, etc... Is it possible for you (www.totalpda.co.uk support that is) to provide a more specific walkthrough for the A201?

Many thanks

The tech guys will look into it. There is also a bluetooth patch on Mios website for the A201.

www.mio-tech.be

Look under support.
