Question about disconnection

Hi,
If the device suddenly dies and it is in the middle of a GPRS - involving activity (download etc), what happens to the backend connection?
For example, if the device dies while downloading a file from www.SomeAddr.com how will the IP connection (to that site) be affected by the device disconnecting from GPRS service?

Anyone any clues?

The IP address allocation will simply timeout.

If you mean will the GPRS data charges keep counting, then no they will terminate once the device drops from the GPRS.
