Default Battery Problem on Typhoon MyGuide 3500

Battery problem as in not re-charging bought it of my mate just out of warranty does anyone know if it is possible to replace the battery as it has to stay plugged into either car cigar lighter or household socket it looks as if it is charging but when you unplug it it is still flat.
Also charging indicator is not coming on, only for a split second as you plug charger in then it goes straight off the battery does not look removebal
