Acer N35 signal problems

My acer N35 seems to take forever to get a min. of 3 satelites, sometime as long as 10 minutes. I am using TomTom 5.1 on it now, but from what I remember it was not that quick to get satelites even with the Destinator software.

Anyone else have this problwem with the Acer? I wonder if I should return it to Comet?

Hi

I had this problem and was getting really cheesed off with it. Took the unit back to Comet where I bought it from and the girl on the CS desk called Acer. After speaking to someone there he advised me to start the GPS software then flip up the antenna instead of flipping up the antenna then starting the software. Went outside to the car, tried it and it picked up the satellites in less than a minute.
