Angry iPAQ 3870 BT-77 GPS Receiver & Tom Tom 5

I can't get the above combination to work! The GPS receiver appears to work (the red light flashes to indicate that it has found satellite signals), Tom Tom 5 has loaded correctly and does everything it says on the box and the iPAQ and BT-77 are paired, they just won't communicate with each other. I had the same problem with my beloved iPAQ H5550 which was stolen from work recently. I've had Tom Tom 5 and the BT-77 since the end of January and I'm getting really fed up now.

Has anyone got any ideas? I'd be very grateful.

Cheers
Nick
