Question About battery and bluetooth

I've been thinking to install the newly introduced Nav4All on my cell phone recently, lately I see a lot of people talking about it here, it only requires your GPRS cell to have Bluetooth function, so it can be connected with a GPS signal receiver to triangulate your position, utterly simple to maneuver, yet I just don't know, will the excess usage of Bluetooth significantly shorten the life of my battery? How often do I have to recharge? Does anyone here have some hands-on experience about this?

Running BT on your phone will reduce battery life.

Depends which phone, as newer phones have a power save function which means BT will only drain battery when in use with another BT device. My 6230I has it on 24/7 and I loose about a day of use between charges compared to having it turned off. Get about 4 days medium usage on calls/texts.
