HOlux GPSlim 236 and external antenna

HOlux GPSlim 236 and external antenna

Maplin sells a A10FZ (£20.00) which seems to have the correct connection for the above GPS. Can anyone tell me if it would work, connections are the same, tried Holux web site and it confirms the connection to be correct but also state 3V supply ??
I am looking to hide away the GPS in the glovebox with a permanent power supply hence wanting to add the antenna.
